I am a Mother of two and have worked in primary schools for the last 9 years and taught baby & toddler classes to parents and nursery staff from 2015-2018. I started my own fitness journey in January 2017 when I bought my own Fitbit. I suffer with a chronic pain condition known as Fibromyalgia and was tired of being stuck in the vicioys cycle of being in pain and overweight.
I started off with short walks and swimming to slowly build up my stamina , fast forward to todayvand Ive dropped 4 1/2 stone and my pain levels are well controlled. I attend weekly bootcamps as part of my ongoing personal training and have taken part in several long distance walking challenges.
In 2018 I decided to retrain as a Fitness Instructor and then as a Dance Instructor in 2019. My passion for fitness and wellbeing has led me to hold personal training sessions and a range of fitness classes specialising in post natal and childrens fitness. Im also teach PE in Primary schools as well as supervise young playladers. My two children regularly join me in my classes and my daughter is a volunteer helper, I also have a specialist interest in mental health and believe that dance and exercise have many additional benefits that help allieviate symptoms of mental health.
I look forward to being part of your fitness journey. Jessica Scrivener B.bs Ad.arom OA.Dip
